 I love Greys Anatomy - finale coming, so don't spoil it for me ...

 

but here is a quote from one of Meredeth's recent finishing soliloquies which for many reasons sparks thoughts within me - both positive and negative ... any thoughts to share folks?

 

"Ask most people what they want, out of life and the answer is simple, to be happy ...

... Maybe it's this expectation tho, the wanting to be happy, that just stops us from ever getting there …

... Maybe the more we try and will ourselves to states of bliss the more confused we get to the point where ewe don’t recognise ourselves...

... instead we just keep smiling trying thick hell to be the happy people we wish we were until eventually it hits us, it’s been there all along …

… Not in our dreams, our hopes, but in the known, the comfortable, the familiar."
